{MINI DOCUMENTARY SESSION - STANLEY PARK; VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA}

It had been a long time since I've spent time with my old college friend, Emily.  We have been Facebook friends for some time now and I love following her posts and seeing all these wonderful pictures of her precious daughters.

I don't chit chat too much during a session and spend more time observing as to not disturb the natural flow of the day but it was nice to catch up a little bit more outside of the Facebook world and hear about Emily's music while I talked about my husband's as well as a little more about my photography.   It was great to be able to reconnect like this!

It was also so lovely to finally get a chance to get to know her girls a little. Her eldest, Miss M, was a curious little lady during our session who seemed to love to discover things and pick flowers for only her beautiful mother (apparently flowers are for mamas, not little sisters...so I have been told by Miss M herself). Little Miss J just hung out in mom's arms delighted watching her big sister play in the surf and sand. Although she didn't seem to too sure of the surf and sand herself.  I did get a chance to capture her crawling on the blanket which, according to Em, was a new skill Miss J recently started showing off.

This session was all kinds of perfect - the sunshine, the beach, and the North Shore mountains and Lions Gate Bridge as a backdrop. It was a sight to see and the pictures turned out beautifully.

Thank you Lechevalllier Family for sharing a part of your wonderful day!

Below are some highlights and a slideshow of highlights and video taken from our session.  Enjoy!
